I was a demolitions specialist in the 175th Engr Co. Jul67 to Jul68. I would like to know why the names Wayne Williams and Glen Yon of of the 175th Engr Co are listed on the 196th list of dead. They both died in Vietnam and I noticed names of men that died from the same causes, so why are they not listed.

The 175th Combat Engineers, one of the support groups of the 196th L.I.B. has a web site. The web site covers the history of the 196th from basic training 1965 at Fort Devens, to our tour in Tay Ninh, and Chu Lai, Vietnam of 1966-1967. It shows how the engineers constructed the Tay Ninh, base camp, and other historical events. Great Photos sent in by members of the 196th. http://homestead.com/175thengineers/homepage.html or under the Yahoo, Search Engine type in 175th Engineers or 196th Light Infantry Brigade.
